This week was the release of rising hip hop star Curren$y and the long anticipated album ‘Pilot Talk’. This will be his first album to drop in stores and is sure to be an instant classic. With production by Ski Beatz, Monsta Beats, Nesby Phips, and Mos Def, all the beats are bangers to compliment Curren$y’s lyrical style. Although the album has leaked, be sure to support a real artist who supplied his fans eight free mixtapes.

Cudi premieres the first single off upcoming Man On the Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager album, which is set to drop September 14th. Cudder always kills the melodies in his records, credit also to Plain Pat on the production and strings by Larry Gold.

If you haven’t already make sure you get familiar with the new face of hip hop. Asher Roth is a 23 year-old white boy from Morrisville, Pennsylvania currently signed to a joint venture between Scooter Braun’s Schoolboy Music and Steve Rifkind’s SRC Records. Asher was featured on the cover of XXL magazine’s annual Top 10 Freshmen: Hip-Hop’s Class ’09 issue. He is expected to release his debut album “Asleep In The Bread Aisle” on March 17, 2009.
