If you live in Central New York your sure to be familiar with lake effect snow. Get one up on that long driveway this winter season. Engineered for SUVs and light pickups, the Meyer Home Plow ($2,600) attaches using a Quick-Link system that lets you attach or detach it in less than a minute with zero tools, and features 14 gauge steel construction, a width of 6 feet 8 inches, and a patented auto-angling system that detects which side of the plow is seeing the most action and angles the blade in that direction for maximum efficiency. It has a small hydraulic power unit for power-up/gravity-down operation. Integrated mounting wheels let you attach or remove the plow in less than a minute, leaving no visible hardware behind.

The main entry is activated with a subtle push into a generous hallway that doubles as gallery for the client’s art collection. The requirements were for a 1600sf one-bedroom, two-bathroom house with an office and a 700sf studio on an infill lot in Barton Heights. The previous home was moved off the site, leaving a constricted buildable area located between a Diadora Cypress at the street and a magnificent Live Oak and swimming pool to the rear.
