Ecobee Smart Thermostat

Ecobee has made it easier to be more green. Their new Smart Thermostat helps you save some dollars at the end of the month when the power bill arrives. It connects to your home network via WiFi, if you’ve forgotten to lower your heat after you’ve left your home, you can login online and adjust with the settings remotely. The $385 price point will take quite some time to pay off for itself (Ecobee claims a window period of 12 to 18 months) after you become more conscious of your power usage patterns and make the necessary adjustments, but it will no doubt make your pad look a bit more futuristic. The Ecobee Smart Thermostat will start shipping early next year.
