In what will be a preview of things to come, Estate LA releases their newest collection of hats. While previous hats were more of the of the fitted variety. The 5-Panel caps bring a nice simple look to the table with no heavy embroidering on the front. The world’s first commercial wave farm went live at the end of September in Agucadoura, located off the coast of northern Portugal. Designed by Pelamis Wave Power, the farm employs three Wave Energy Converters – snakelike, semi-submerged devices that generate electricity with hydraulic rams driven by waves. This first phase of the new renewable energy farm is rated at 2.25 MW with 3 machines, and the the second phase will add an additional 25 machines to bring the capacity to 21 MW – enough to power 15,000 homes!

Popular bike crew and subject of their own documentary, MASHSF has relaunched their website. Upon visiting the site, a video from this past summer shot in Austin can be viewed. Joined by multiple Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong for an extensive ride, the video concludes with a quick tour of Armstrong’s lavish digs. The site also sports a webstore giving access to a series of MASHSF-branded products including apparel, accessories and of course the MASHSF DVD.

The interactive agency Sarkissian Mason has launched The Contrarian, an independent online fact-checking site that seeks to empower the masses to demand truth in media. Taking content entirely from published articles and photos, The Contrarian seeks to focus the views presented by internet media. The outcome seeks not to discredit your favorite online news source, but to encourage users to seek out other sources for information.
